CHARLOTTE, NC– People living in Charlotte’s Belmont neighborhood are trying to stop a cell phone tower from being installed behind Hawthorne High School.

CMS leased unused land to the Berkly Group, which plans to build the tower.  Neighbors say the tower is too big.

They will voice their concerns to the Berkley group during a community meeting tomorrow.

You’re invited to share your concerns at tomorrow’s meeting.

It starts at 6:30 at the Salvation Army building on Belmont Avenue.
